Evadne Twix was a female human who was introduced in Mortal Engines.
She was portrayed by New Zealand actress Sarah Peirse.

Evadne has pale skin, short white hair, and wears a pale grey uniform.

Evadne met with Thaddeus Valentine when discussing his plan to overthrow Magnus Crome. Her name is only spoken once during the finale when operating MEDUSA. She supervised the weapon's recharge process, as well as confirming its firing sequence after its computer-brain focused its target.
It is unknown what happened to her when Anna Fang infiltrated St. Paul's Cathedral to allow Hester Shaw to deactivate the ancient weapon.

- "Evadne" is the name of several legends in Greek mythology, including the wife of Capaneus. In the said legend, after Zeus killed Capaneus with a lightning bolt, Evadne committed suicide by throwing herself onto her husband's burning corpse.[1]
