Sharkmoor Prison was an aquatic traction city that was introduced in Mortal Engines. It was destroyed by Thaddeus Valentine shooting a missile from his airship to the prison, releasing Shrike to kill Hester Shaw.

Evadne Twix mentions Sharkmoor when she tells Valentine the fact that the prison had recently captured a Stalker whose only prey is his "ghost" - Shrike.
Valentine then orders Pewsey and Gench to pilot the 13th Floor Elevator to the prison.
Once at the prison, Valentine learns that Shrike will kill Hester once he find her. Noticing that the two have a common enemy, Valentine uses the 13th Floor Elevator to shoot at Shrike's prison to free him and hunt the young woman.
As a result, Sharkmoor Prison was destroyed from the Elevator's missiles.
