Vambrace was a male human who was introduced in Mortal Engines. He was the head of London's security.
He was shot by Anna Fang while trying to defend Thaddeus Valentine.
He was portrayed by New Zealand actor Mark Mitchinson.

Vambrace was present when Valentine shot Magnus Crome.
When Anna Fang snuck into St Paul's Cathedral to allow Hester Shaw to shut down MEDUSA, Vambrace noticed the Anti-Tractionist aiming her gun at Valentine. He then ran in front of his boss to protect him, and was promptly shot to death. Valentine used his corpse to defend himself from Fang's bullets before taking the latter's sword to fight her.
